What Bleu de Chanel Parfum actually smells like
Bleu de Chanel exists in three concentrations and the Parfum is the one worth owning. It takes the same grapefruit-mint-incense skeleton as the EDT and thickens it considerably: more sandalwood, more labdanum, a smoky-sweet warmth in the base that the lighter versions only gesture at. Longevity goes from respectable to genuinely all-day.
The opening is crisp citrus with a peppery lift, but the reason people buy this is what happens after an hour, when the Iso E Super and sandalwood settle into a soft woody haze that stays on a shirt collar until you take it off. It is smooth to the point of being almost anonymous in the best way — nothing in it will ever be the wrong choice.
Because the three concentrations differ in ways that are hard to judge in a shop, this is one of the most useful decant comparisons we sell. A 5 ml of the EDP and a 5 ml of the Parfum side by side will settle the question permanently, and it costs a fraction of guessing wrong at a hundred and seventy dollars a bottle.

Bleu de Chanel Parfum FAQ
The EDT is the freshest and most citrus-driven with the shortest legs. The EDP adds amber warmth and better longevity. The Parfum is the richest — more sandalwood and labdanum, smoother overall, and roughly ten hours on skin. Most people who own more than one end up wearing the Parfum most.
It is genuinely popular, and you will smell it on other people. The Parfum concentration is worn far less than the EDT, so it gives you the signature without the exact department-store familiarity.
All of them, which is the point. The Parfum leans slightly warmer so it is especially good from autumn through winter.
At two sprays a day, about eight weeks. Bleu is potent enough that most people use two to three sprays rather than four or five.
