Yves Saint Laurent Tuxedo Decant
From Le Vestiaire — powdery iris and vanilla, quietly luxurious.
The fragrance
What Yves Saint Laurent Tuxedo actually smells like
Tuxedo comes from Le Vestiaire des Parfums, YSL's boutique-only collection, and it is considerably more restrained than anything in their mainstream line. Bergamot and pink pepper open it briefly before a powdery iris and orange blossom heart takes over, with a soft vanilla-sandalwood base underneath.
It is elegant and close-wearing, lasting six to eight hours with a modest sillage. The name is apt — it smells formal, smooth and slightly old-world, and it is genuinely unisex.
Le Vestiaire is only sold in YSL boutiques and select counters, which makes it hard to try. That is most of why this appears in the keyword data and most of why we stock it.

Yves Saint Laurent Tuxedo FAQ
YSL's boutique-exclusive collection, sold in larger bottles at higher prices than their mainstream line, with more concentrated and less commercial compositions. Tuxedo is one of the most requested from it.
Not really. It is quieter and more powdery than anything in the Y or Libre lines, and much more of a classical oriental.
Both. The powdery iris skews slightly feminine but the dry vetiver and sandalwood base balance it.
