Bvlgari Man in Black Decant
Boozy rum, leather and tuberose. Underrated and excellent value.
The fragrance
What Bvlgari Man in Black actually smells like
Man in Black is one of the most consistently underrated designer masculines. It opens on a genuinely boozy rum-and-spice accord, moves into a soft leather heart with an unexpected tuberose note giving it a floral richness, and finishes on tonka and benzoin. It smells considerably more expensive than it is.
Nine to ten hours of wear with warm, confident projection. It is a cold-weather fragrance and a very good evening one, and the tuberose gives it a distinctiveness that most designer ambers lack entirely.
It is frequently found discounted, which makes it an unusually good value pick — but the tuberose is the sort of note worth confirming you enjoy before buying, hence the 2 ml option.

Questions about this fragrance
Bvlgari Man in Black FAQ
Yes, and it is what makes the fragrance interesting. It gives the leather heart a creamy floral richness that reads as depth rather than as a floral note. Some people find it slightly feminine; most find it luxurious.
It is among the best value fragrances in the designer amber category, particularly given how often it is discounted.
Autumn and winter. The rum and leather feel heavy in summer heat.
